Jordan MacDonald

Founder, Fabric Living

Jordan MacDonald is the founder of Fabric Living, a Vancouver-based multifamily developer known for its "not boring" approach to purpose-built rental and condo projects across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.

Jordan began his career as an industrial broker at Cushman & Wakefield before founding the commercial brokerage Frontline Real Estate, then moving to the principal side of the business to focus on his own developments. Fabric Living today runs a small, partner-led team with roughly 600 units built or in the pipeline.

On the Canadian Private Real Estate Podcast, Jordan joined host Justin Smith to talk about the forces reshaping Vancouver development, why purpose-built rental is outpacing condos, the "moat" that used to protect developers, a coming supply pocket later this decade, and the grit it takes to build through a tough market.
